Joy Crysdale is an award winning television journalist, professor of journalism and former media executive.

Her book, Fearless Female Journalists, tells the stories of ten different women who changed the world through their journalism – and who risked everything, including their lives, to do it.  The women are from different periods of history and practiced all types of journalism; what they have in common is their bravery and dedication to telling the world’s stories.
